In talking with Brealli, she is well spoken, friendly and talkative and will become animated and enthusiastic when talking about things she enjoys. Brealli also demonstrates a sense of humor at times, has a good memory about past events and is goal-oriented. Brealli describes her strengths as her creativity and her interests in arts and science. Brealli has a great ability to entertain herself, and she has many interests and hobbies including crocheting, latch hooking and painting. Like other girls Brealli’s age, she likes listening to the latest pop music on her IPod and singing along with her Karaoke machine. Brealli also likes to read, spend time on the computer, talk on her cell phone and watch TV. Brealli’s taste in movies is more toward romantic comedy. Brealli enjoys physical activities such as swimming, playing tennis and taking long walks.
With Brealli’s needs, Brealli struggles with peer relationships and impulsive control. Brealli does well in school and plans to attend college. Her plan is to major in Art design. With the proper guidance, support, structure, and discipline, Brealli has the ability to graduate high school and further her education.
Wherever her future placement may be, Brealli will still require a structured environment that provides firm discipline, consistent support and guidance as well as opportunities for personal growth. She has many strengths that will develop further with a family that is willing to take the time and effort to offer her a chance to develop her full potential. It is recommended that a successful family for Brealli would be a two-parent household that is willing to provide a long lasting commitment to Brealli and understand her emotional needs, however each family that meets her needs will be considered. It is hoped that this family will be willing to allow Brealli to remain in contact with her support system of family and friends.
